This project is located in West Boulevard in Charlotte, NC. The area is currently home to low income families and who are facing food insecurity. This project focuses on issues of food insecurity and affordable housing. Stackhaus Gardens proposes utilizing a using a set of three housing typologies which can be mixed and matched to create various housing arrangements. The site is currently an empty parking lot turned into a expansive multi-use and office tower with a public spaces and park at the podium level. Uptown Urban Grove is a net-zero energy tower which aims to lower the overall urban heat island effect.
